Richard Fawkes is an award-winning film and stage director. Among his many credits are the Channel 4 series Tom Keating on Painters, Changing Faces, Every Window Tells A Story and Notes From Norfolk, a portrait of composer Malcolm Arnold. His stage credits include Waltzing in the Clouds for the Covent Garden Festival, The Yeomen of the Guard for Opera Holland Park, Faust (Opera South), La Boheme and The Merry Wives of Windsor (Opera South). He is also a regular contributor to BBC Music Magazine, Classical Music and Opera Now.
